Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from flarmor.com (the “Site”). The Site is operated by FLARMOR L.L.C., a United States company.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
  • “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

When you place an order, request a quote or open a trade account, we collect the information you give us: your name, company name, business address, delivery address, email address, telephone number, and where applicable your payment details, purchase order references and resale or exemption certificate. We refer to this as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Information and Order Information.

How we use your personal information

We use Order Information to quote, fulfil and invoice orders — including arranging freight, processing payment, and providing order acknowledgements, packing lists and invoices. We also use it to:

  • communicate with you about your account and your orders;
  • screen orders for potential risk or fraud;
  • assess applications for trade accounts and payment terms; and
  • where you have asked for it, send you information about stock, lead times and pricing.

We use Device Information to screen for risk and fraud (in particular your IP address) and to improve and measure the Site.

Sharing your personal information

We share Personal Information with third parties who help us run the business. We use Shopify to power this store — you can read how Shopify uses your Personal Information at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. We share delivery details with the freight carriers and the warehouse that handle your order, and payment details with our payment processor.

We may also share Personal Information to comply with applicable law and regulation, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or otherwise to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

Do not track

We do not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask that it be corrected, updated or deleted. Write to the address below and we will respond.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to perform a contract with you or to pursue our legitimate business interests as set out above, and your information is transferred to and stored in the United States.

Data retention

We keep Order Information for as long as we need it for the business and tax records of the transaction, and for as long as applicable law requires, unless and until you ask us to delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

If you are in California

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

FLARMOR L.L.C. is a small business and does not currently meet the revenue or volume thresholds that bring a company within the California Consumer Privacy Act. Regardless of that, you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will act on it. Write to the address below. We will not treat you differently for asking.
